Obituary

Hoorn – Mrs. Helen J. Hoorn, aged 83, of Byron Center, went to be with her Lord Saturday, November 7, 1998. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Hoorn and a brother, Robert Thomas. Surviving are her children, Jan and Jim Fisher, Jim and Sandy Hoorn, Bruce and Mary Hoorn, Brian and Robin Hoorn, Dianna and Pat Rison; 19 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; her sister, Dorothy Roblee; her sisters-in-law, Fran and Louise Hoorn, Bernie and Arlene Hoorn, Pete and Jen Hoorn. The funeral service will be held 1 pn Tuesday at the funeral chapel, Dr. Edwin DuBois officiating. Entombment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions to Hospice of Holland Home. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th Street SE.
