January 7, 1910

Mrs. H.E. Cooper
Westmoreland, NY
Box 36

Just received a letter from Junia [Iva’s half-sister through father], saying she is settled in her new home and is ready for the organ and will pay the freight. Can I tell Nellie to send it or have you other plans. Chas. [Junia’s husband, Charles H. Craine] is in Beulah looking after his lumber and will stay for the winter and work, as there isn’t any in Harrison. Junia says she is so lonesome I thought if she could have the organ it would help to cheer her up. Elam [Iva’s half-brother through mother] is in the city today and is coming up here to see me about 4:00 p.m. and I have class at 3:00 p.m. Busy day ’round here for this chicken. Wish you was coming today, too. In haste, Iva, U.B.A. Hospital
