Drum’s Store – Westmoreland, NY POSTCARD
I am sending you this more for the dog than the store. The dog is the one that tried to outrun the cars when he was a puppy and lost the end of narrative, and grew wise very suddenly. His name is Gypsy and is owned by Mr Hubble who owns the building, a corner of which may be seen at the left. Around the corner, south is the McDougle house, one of the oldest in town except ours. and the one marked 100 years on map. All of these photos you should see through a glass. Valeria you know wrote about the dog. and what an escapade they had. They are just across the road from us. See map. HE Cooper

I need not explain this. The map shows its location and how to reach it. I am going to Utica today if I can get there. I am awful weak and shaky, but guess I will make it all right. (Helen E. Cooper)

Arrived OK but my arms are so tired and lame. I forgot to get my clippings. Will you send them when you write. You laid them in the white cupboard. Love to all. Iva
