State of Michigan, County of Kent, To any constable of said county, greeting:
Whereas, application has been made to me, Wm. H. Galloway, a Justice of the Peace of the Township of Wyoming in said County, for an attachment in favor of John W. Cooper against the goods and chattels of Phillip Landin? for the sum of nine and ninety one hundredths dollars, due to the said John W. Cooper upon implied contract from the said Phillip Landin being the amount claimed by the said John W. Cooper and the requisite affidavit having been made and filed with me, and a bond with sufficient sureties having been made and executed, and filed with me: therefore, in the name of the People of the State of Michigan, you are commanded to attach so much of the goods and chattels of the said Phillip Landin (excepting such as are exempt by law from execution), as will be sufficient to satisfy said demand; and safely keep the same, to satisfy any judgment that may be recovered by the said John W. Cooper. And do you return this attachment to me, the said Justice, at my office in Grandville in the Township of Wyoming in said County on the 26th day of January at one o’clock in the afternoon. Given under my hand, at the township aforesaid, the 18th day of January A.D. 1877.
